In this guerrilla installation, Eric explores the transient nature of our existence. With a heavy-handed approach, Eric’s symbolism, selection of location, and short-lived installation aim to echo the human race’s ongoing search for the answer to our own fleeting existences.
Installed in a burnt out observatory that once scoured the skies, these silhouettes search one last time for their answers, leaving their mark with the informal audience that formed and dispersed during the installation that lasted less than a day.
The work is four hand printed panels comprising of 100% cotton rag mounted on un-stretched canvas. Individually they measure 86cm x 105cm, installed as illustrated they measure 365cms x 105cms.
